Founding partner of TGM Advogados, Fernanda Tórtima has developed her entire career in Criminal Law and has a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro - PUC Rio. She has also earned a master’s degree and a postgraduate degree from european universities. Tórtima is Deputy Federal Counselor of Brazilian Bar Association and member of IAB (Brazilian Lawyers Institute). Experienced and dedicated, Fernanda is comitted to clients’ necessities.
Having earned her Bachelor of Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro - PUC Rio, Fernanda Tórtima also holds a master's degree in Law (Magistra Legum) from the University of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. She has also earned a postgraduate degree in Economic Criminal Law from a partnership between the University of Coimbra and the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences.
Currently, Fernanda Tórtima is Deputy Federal Counselor of Brazilian Bar Association, by Rio de Janeiro’s Bar Association. She has been President of Rio de Janeiro Bar Association’s Commission for Attorney Rights and Prerogatives in 2010/2012; Deputy Secretary of Rio de Janeiro Bar Association in 2013/2015 and Counselor in 2016/2018. She is also member of IAB (Brazilian Lawyers Institute).
Among her main published works, we can mention 'Evasão de Divisas': a criticism of the territorial concept of outflow of foreign exchange as described in the sole paragraph of article 22 of Brazilian Law 7492. It is also worth noting the curation process developed in a partnership with Luís Greco for the book 'O Bem Jurídico como Limitação do Poder Estatal de Incriminar?', with translations of articles originally written by German authors.
André Galvão is one of the founding partners of TGM Advogados and has a diversified background and previous experience as a public legal advisor. LL.M in Compliance and postgraduate in Public and Private Law, Galvão coordinates the Advanced Studies Group on White Collar Crimes of the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences and the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association’s Commission for Attorney Rights and Prerogatives before the Public Federal Prosecutor's Office.
Graduated in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and postgraduate in Public and Private Law from the School of Magistracy of the State of Rio de Janeiro (EMERJ) and in International Relations from the Candido Mendes University (UCAM), André Galvão is a former Legal Advisor to the Rio de Janeiro Governor’s Cabinet Civil Office.
Felipe Maranhão is one of the founding partners of TGM Advogados. He has a degree in Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and a postgraduate degree in Criminal Procedure from the University of Coimbra. Felipe has been working with Criminal Law for over 10 years and is currently a Master student at Pontifícea Universidade Católica (PUC-RIO). Felipe has been Deputy Coordinator at the Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences (IBCCRIM-RJ).

She also took part in an extension course in Proof and Uses of Tecnology in Criminal Justice at School of Magistrates of the State of Rio de Janeiro and in advanced studies groups at Brazilian Institute of Criminal Sciences. Currently, she is Deputy Coordinator of the Rio de Janeiro Bar Association’s Commission for Attorney Rights and Prerogatives before the Public Federal Prosecutor's Office.
